The Aunt Millie’s Bakehouse difference may be something you have to experience to believe fully. We may not be the only bakery offering frozen bread products, but unlike the others, our freezing process never compromises flavor or quality.
Experience our bread, buns and rolls and you’ll see, smell, feel and taste the difference right away. They aren’t just fresh, but fresher than fresh. That’s because our process quickly locks in the fresh baked goodness. So, our products retain their original moisture, texture, taste and aroma.
Our quality baked products are boxed immediately and then shipped to you frozen under meticulously controlled shipping environments. Once delivered, our products can remain frozen for up to 18-months, helping you control inventory and reduce product losses.
Our Roots
Aunt Millie’s Bakehouse is a division of Aunt Millie’s Bakeries, which has a rich history. Our story is based on family, tradition and a passion for baking. It began in 1901, when J.B. Franke founded the Wayne Biscuit Company. Over the years, the name changed, products came and went and the company grew. But what never changed was the focus on quality and customer service.
How Can Frozen Equal Fresh?
Aunt Millie’s Bakehouse bread, buns and rolls go directly from the oven to flash-freezing facilities, where the fresh-baked taste, texture and aroma is locked in. When thawed, whether ten days or ten months later, Bakehouse products taste, feel and smell fresher than fresh. That’s the Aunt Millie’s Bakehouse difference.
